I decided to learn a second language after I came upon iyinet webmaster forumu 2008 seo yarışması, an SEO contest. I realized that English isn’t enough to survive in the internet industry, anymore. I had some Spanish and French classes when I was in High School, but I never really excelled. Perhaps, from the lack of motivation and use. But now that I’m seeing more and more sites catering to localized regions in Europe and Asia, that’s enough for me to come out of my hiding. I know that it will be like learning to read and write again, but the benefits will far exceed the pains.
